01The short answer
Which one fits you
Both run dedicated nodes. The difference is the price, and what you need around the node.
Pick HeroRPC if
- You want a lower published price on every chain we both sell: 54 to 75 percent less.
- You want a backup node on every plan, with no extra line on the bill.
- You don't want a setup fee on any plan.
- You can prepay for up to 12 months and save up to 25% off the monthly price.
Pick Allnodes if
- You need a chain we don't support yet. We support 24 chains; check the Allnodes list for yours.
- You prefer hourly billing. Allnodes bills its Advanced and Enterprise plans by the hour, so you pay only for the hours a node runs.
- You want an Enterprise plan with a higher uptime promise. Allnodes sells one; we sell a single plan per node.

06Questions
Questions about switching from Allnodes
Is HeroRPC really cheaper than Allnodes?
On the node types we both publish, yes, by 54 to 75 percent. An Ethereum full node is $139/mo here and $320/mo at Allnodes (57 percent less, checked 20 October 2026). A Bitcoin full node is $139/mo against $320/mo.
How much is an Allnodes Ethereum archive node?
$640/mo on its Ethereum pricing page (checked 20 October 2026). An Ethereum archive node here is $289/mo, 55 percent less.
Does Allnodes charge a setup fee?
On its Basic validator plans, yes. The Solana validator plan we compare is $1,280/mo plus a one-time $1,280 setup fee. Its Advanced plans have none. HeroRPC has no setup fee on any plan.
Do I get a backup node?
Yes, included on every plan except Solana validators. Two machines must never vote with the same validator identity, so a Solana validator gets a standby server that we switch to by hand if the main one fails.
Can I pay in crypto?
Yes. You pay for each node plan in crypto at checkout.

The same node. Less than half the price.
