VS5 providers, one table

Dedicated blockchain node providers compared

Dedicated blockchain node providers compared on what they actually publish. Allnodes and GetBlock show a price. Chainstack shows a worked example, NOWNodes a price in a blog post, and QuickNode asks you to talk to sales. HeroRPC lists every price: full nodes from $139 a month, with a backup node included.

Each provider prices a different thing (one chain, a worked example, a starting price), so read the "What they publish" column before comparing numbers. The full page for each provider lines them up row by row.

02Five questions

How to choose a dedicated node provider

  1. Is the price on the page?

A published price lets you budget before you talk to anyone. A sales quote can fit large teams, but you only learn the cost after a call.

  2. What is in the price?

Some providers bill a plan, compute and storage separately. Add every line before you compare a single number.

  3. Is a backup node included?

A node that only you use still goes down for upgrades. Ask whether a second node takes over, and whether it costs extra.

  4. Does it run your chain and region?

We run 24 chains. Bigger providers run more chains and regions, and that can matter more than price.

  5. How do you pay?

We take crypto for every plan. Check each provider: QuickNode, for example, takes crypto top-ups on some plans and full crypto payment only on Enterprise.

05Questions

Questions about dedicated node providers

What is a dedicated blockchain node?

A node that serves only your apps. Nobody else shares its speed or its request limits, so you get steady response times and no rate limits set for other customers.

Is a dedicated node better than a shared plan?

Not always. Shared plans cost far less and suit small apps and testing. A dedicated node pays off when you send many requests, need steady speed, or need archive data a shared plan does not keep.

Why do some providers not publish a dedicated price?

Dedicated nodes are often sold as part of a larger contract, priced by chain, region and support level. We list a flat price per chain and node type instead, so you can compare before you ask.

How fast can I switch providers?

Our endpoint is standard JSON-RPC, so most apps only need a new URL. Your HeroRPC node is ready within 24 hours of payment, then you test it and cancel the old plan.
